Held in a safe and therapeutic setting, medicines like ketamine can create a temporary shift in perspective — interrupting entrenched patterns and opening access to deeper emotional material. Live vibrational sound speaks directly to the nervous system in that opened state: helping you stay grounded, present, and receptive while the medicine does its work, and helping come back to the body afterward as you process experience.
This is offered through a supported arc: preparation, experience, and integration.
The Arc
Prepare — One or more sessions to clarify intentions, prepare the nervous system, and build the foundation you’ll carry into the journey.
Journey — The medicine session itself, supported by live vibrational sound and attuned in real time, supporting your experience. The session can include singing bowls and tuning forks on and around the body, gongs, and carefully selected music.
Integrate — Arguably the most important and often the most neglected phase. Our sessions offer embodied and relational support in the days and weeks after, focused on turning insight into pattern, practice, and daily life.
Three Ways To Work Together
1. Physician Administered, In Clinic — full arc experience
A complete container, with preparation sessions, a ketamine journey facilitated with live vibrational sound, and personalized integration sessions in the days and weeks following. Medical screening, prescribing, and administration are always handled by a licensed physician. ONDO collaborates with Pala Medicine in Pasadena and other clinical partners in the greater Los Angeles area. Shane offers the experiential and somatic arc from the first conversation to the integration sessions.

2. At-Home Medicine Accompaniment — for those with a prescription
A growing number of people have a legal, at-home ketamine prescription through Telehealth providers such as Mindbloom or others. Most folks navigate those sessions alone, with a playlist. ONDO offers something unique for those looking for something deeper and with dedicated human support: live vibrational sound and somatic support during your prescribed sessions, alongside real preparation and integration.
Your prescribing provider manages everything medical — ONDO provides no substances and makes no medical claims. What Shane provides is an embodied container, the sound, and continuity to your process — so the medicine you’re already taking can lead to deeper unfolding.
Every engagement begins with a First Arc — one preparation session, one accompanied journey, one integration session — and continues, if you choose, with further journeys that are always paired with integration. A journey without integration isn’t something that ONDO offers; the pairing is the point.
3. Preparation & Integration Coaching — wherever your journey happens
Many people are already doing medicine work — in a clinic, a retreat, a ceremony. While many of these experiences are healing and profound, there is often a lack of support or continuity: someone to help prepare beforehand, and offer the support for true integration after. This is often work that slowly unfolds over time, and somatic practices such as vibrational sound can be a genuine ally to the nervous system as we prepare for and integrate significant experiences into daily life.
ONDO’s Preparation & Integration Coaching stands fully on its own, and pairs well with talk therapy, even if you’re already working with someone. Work with classical psychedelics, empathogenic and heart-opening medicines, and ceremony traditions is welcome here.

Individual Session
A deeply somatic experience of therapeutic vibration and sound — bowls and tuning forks directly on and around the body — designed to enhance and deepen the medicine's work. Sessions can also incorporate recorded music, alone or alongside live vibrational sound, shaped to what your system needs.
Every individual arc includes one or more Preparation Sessions beforehand and Integration Sessions after — the same rhythm that runs through everything ONDO offers: prepare, journey, integrate.

Group Session
An expanded ketamine and sound bath experience, held in community — gongs, bowls, tuning forks, and shared intention. The group setting offers something the individual work can't: connection. Intentions are spoken before the journey; a sharing circle afterward begins the integration together.
Group arcs include preparation and integration sessions. Friends on a shared healing path can form their own group, and community group sessions are offered periodically — ask about either.
Who holds this
Shane Aspegren has spent thirty years working with sound — as a musician and composer who has performed and presented work everywhere from Glastonbury and Coachella to the Venice Biennale and the Whitney Museum — and a large part of the past decade facilitating somatic sound practice across Hong Kong, Los Angeles, and cities around the world, including ongoing work inside physician-administered ketamine sessions.
How he works matters more than any of that. Sessions are unhurried and non-directive. Nothing has to happen, and nothing is interpreted for you. What surfaces is met rather than analyzed, and the pace belongs to the person, not the practitioner. His work is somatic and relational, and can be offered as a complement to clinical care, with medical and psychological treatment held by licensed partners. What he brings is skillful, unhurried, embodied accompaniment.
He has worked with people in or arriving from clinics, retreats, ceremony, and their own living rooms, and doesn't ask anyone to justify the path that brought them. His medicine-adjacent work is trauma-informed and grounded in a simple conviction: the nervous system, not the narrative, is where change consolidates.

Q: Who actually administers the medicine? Always a licensed medical provider — Dr. Suraiya Rahman of Pala Medicine for in-clinic arcs, or your own telehealth prescriber for at-home work. Shane's role is chosen by you: anywhere from primary experiential facilitator of the session itself to lighter-touch sound support and preparation & integration coaching.
Q: I already have an at-home prescription — can you support my sessions? Yes — that's the Accompaniment arc listed above. Your provider handles all things medical; you can expect preparation before, live vibrational sound and somatic support during, and embodied integration after.
Q: My work happens in ceremony or retreat contexts. Can we still work together? Yes. Preparation & integration coaching is standalone, legal support. Shane doesn't source or provide medicine — he helps you arrive well-prepared for experiences you've chosen for yourself, and holds what comes after.
